Travails of Serbia or how things are (still) done in the Balkans

Still stretched over the issue of Kosovo (former province of Serbia recognized as independent in February 2008) and plagued by economic, political and social problems stemming from the 1990s, Serbian[1] bid for membership in the EU seems to have ventured into its most troubling phase. Time and again, process of European integration of the largest ex-Yugoslav republic has been stopped and/or postponed, and now it solely rests on solving issues......
